it took me too long to search for this info, so I’m summarizing it here..
in 2001, ad agency TBWA\London commissioned David Lynch to do a commercial for a new PS2 ad campaign. the theme and tagline was “The Third Place”. Lynch’s commercial is
surreal, and easy to find at youtube and elsewhere.
there are several other ads in the “Third Place” campaign, and a couple are widely misattributed to David Lynch.
one is the Bambi ad. I haven’t yet found out who directed it.
another one is a Wolfman ad, which is a shortened version of an animation by Tim Hope. one website says the cutting was done by David Lynch, but a news item in the trade magazine Campaign says it was done by Graham Cappi, a producer at TBWA.
