Julien Pacaud is an illustrator. This is his biography:

“I’m a french illustrator, currently living in Le Mans, France. Before becoming an illustrator, i was, by turns: an astrophysician, an international snooker player, a hypnotist and an esperanto teacher. I hope i can someday have enough free time to devote myself to my real passion: time travel.”

Dear P. What exactly is changed in the way you see the contents through RSS? The only change we made was to activate a Feedburner account, in order to monitor the subscriptions, but we didn’t mean to change anything else. Please tell us what’s wrong from you point of view

    Best, and thanks for following

      Hi Valentina,

First of all, thanks a lot for the attention you gave to my comments. I wasn’t sure about the change either, that’s why Im only speculating about the intention behind it. I hope I didn’t upset anyone.

I’m using NetNewsWire to follow your blog. Have been for the last two years (maybe more). The changes are the following : 1) Text is (sometime) truncated; 2) more importantly, RSS feed doesn’t show any picture. I’ve tried to re-subscribe to your RSS feed, but it appears to be the same (just as you said). My guess is that an option was activated (maybe without your knowledge) to truncate the post for the RSS feed. It’s a common and legitimate way to “invite” or force the reader of a RSS feed to click through the link and visit the webpage online. Don’t know if it’s what you want though.

I’ll keep visiting your website anyway (and reblogging from it). It’s one of the website that inspired me to launch my own “visual archive” back in 2008.

      Thanks again,

      P.

        Hi,

I think we restored it back as it was. I tried with NetNewsWire and the newest article is visualized with the pictures. Let us know if it works for you as well

        best

          Hi there,

Yep, I can confirm : the recent posts about Rachim Lippoth and Lucia Bartoletti are fully displayed (text and pictures) as RSS feed. It’s just like it used to be.

Have a great week and thanks again for all the generous sharing.

          P.

You just changed to way the content of your blog is displayed in the RSS feed. I understand the move : it may brings mo people to your site, more hits, maybe more sales. Too bad though, for I find it much more easy to monitor your blog’s content via the RSS feed and reblogged some of your post from time to time (with adequate references, always).

Nonetheless, thank you for all the artists I discovered here.
