At first I thought ‘not another taxidermy artist trying to be oh so unique juxtapositioning species together but…’ That walrus is amazing! I quite like the dove walking a beetle too. On his site ‘WTF?’ is particularly elegant. There’s a good sense of proportion across his works. Perhaps that’s forced by the carcasses themselves but they remind me of my own surreal animal collages, and other artists illustrations of fantastic animals inspired by real ones. The main difference being it must be a huge challenge to fuse real animals together perfectly.
