Benoît Dobbelaëre develops his own universe around his personage called Emâ with different medias like sculpture, drawings and videos. Emâ is a female and a male figure, he/she is made of flesh and prosthetics, a collection of weird objects with bursts of gold.
It’s a poetic reflexion about the beauty and the horror, the place of the artist in his own world and the personal mythology.
