Fill the world with hope? (wtf)

klaxon

Ok, we don’t know what this is all about (probably some sort of guerrilla art action), but it’s actually a bit disturbing. Let’s wait for the full disclosure…

“At the Klaxon Institute, we help patients look good and feel good – and now we are pioneering a new way to help them do good. Our new reverse liposuction technique allows us to take the excess fatty tissue from our patients and inject this into the bodies of starving people in the third world. This means they are able to live off it for months at a time without having to struggle to feed themselves.”

*update: it’s a spoof video, and all the infos are here (thanks to Nuno in the comments!)

Dancers Among Us

Dancers Among Us, a photo seriew by Jordan Matter:

“This is an ongoing project that began in the spring of 2009, featuring top professional dancers in everyday situations around New York City. There were no trampolines or other devices used for these images, just thousands of hours of training!”

SLVT

slvt
SLVT is an “intimate zine created by Meg Forsyth as part of an ongoing project examining the term slut and aims to elevate this derogatory word. Beginning with the label SLVT as a conceptual departure point, each page of drawing and text unfolds a delicate line of thoughts told with a sensitive hand.”
